Volunteering in APRONIA
We need you
The number of children who need urgent protection is ten times greater than the capacity of reception! The government does not care much about this. They come from all the department and the number of children and adolescents that have to be rejected, because there are not enough places and resources, it is higher than 120 per year!
Apronia contributes to help these children and young people, who do not find means and resources, in order to support and assist them.
On the other hand, many requests concern situations that do not require a reception in the home, rather a follow-up in their places of life.
The social workers of Apronia try to support these young people by visiting them regularly and with availability 24/7.
The offer of the State is practically non-existent . The lack of political will, of personnel trained in the region or of adequate financing, does not allow to help all these young people abandoned to their fate.
Apronia will continue to act, so that the State assumes the protection of children and youth, duly applying the laws.
